To celebrate ‘National Smile Month', Tipton Training dental school is launching an online competition to find ‘Manchester's Best Smile' to help spread the message of good oral health in the city.
To get into the spirit of things, Tipton Training has launched a competition on Facebook, which has already attracted 85 members, and will accept entries until 12 June.
To enter, people need to upload their best smile to the group called ‘Manchester's Best Smile 2010'.
The winning smile will receive an array of prizes and will also become the face of the competition next year.
By promoting awareness of oral health the dental training school is hoping to make people think more about the appearance of their teeth and how it can make an impact on your aesthetics of your face.
The winner will be chosen by some of the school's top dentists and the school's founder Dr Paul Tipton.
Dr Tipton, a specialist dentist himself, said: ‘We are delighted to get involved in National Smile Month and to promote awareness around Manchester. Our whole careers as dentists pivot around good oral health which is an extremely important issue in society.'
